Experiencing the change in the seasons is one of the joys of having a close relationship with our local producers so it was a great pleasure to hear from Caroline at the Old Farm Shop in Harwell (who used to supply our eggs) earlier this week to hear she had some asparagus for us. If you enjoy these slender vegetables pop in today before we close at 6.30pm and pick some up. They look super tasty. Perfect dipped in a soft boiled egg for a special Good Friday breakfast.

We are closed tomorrow for Good Friday and on Easter Monday next week. We are very much open for our market on Saturday though – see the nice mix of guest stalls below. Then next Wednesday is our Food Surplus Café.

Exciting news! We are getting a big chiller, new freezer and counter installed the week after next. This will mean we can sell an even wider range of goods. But we need to close for a bit to allow this to happen so we will be closed Monday 24 – Friday 28 April. We will be open for the market on Saturday 29th April as usual. This also means there will be no Knit and Stitch Group both next Monday and the following Monday. Make sure to stock up on your eggs, bacon and other Talking Shop essentials over the next week!
