We’ve got an exciting market on Saturday morning with lots of lovely guest stalls! Pop in and buy something for the special Valentine in your life and support these great local small businesses at the same time! Choose from a delectable sweet treat from Ally’s Kitchen, a healthy salad box from Naturally Sweet Oxford, a unique vintage item or two from Natalie Ellet, a handmade card by the amazing Mary Drage, or a gorgeous leather purse or handbag/satchel from Jamie!

Or, for a practical Valentine’s gift, why not get some of those pesky sewing repairs done for your loved one – bring them down for Maria to fix at her Make.Do.Mend stall. Or if the way to your Valentine’s heart is through their stomach, we’ll have a fabulous selection of organic veggies from Clays and a great selection of fresh breads, cheeses and other groceries for you to whip up an amazing feast.

Finally, would you like to meet new people and could you help in our Saturday market? We are recruiting more people to join our current amazing group of regular volunteers. No experience necessary. You just need to have a couple of hours spare on a Saturday. Some people work regularly, others fill in ad hoc shifts every now and again. It’s up to you. We would like to add 6-8 additional people to our group to help out whenever they can. Contact Louise at for more information!
Date for the diary: next Wednesday 15th is our Food Surplus Café.
