It’s our 5th Birthday tomorrow – please do come and celebrate with us. We’ll be blowing out the candles on an enormous cake at 10am – come and join us for a slice! We’ll also be asking people ‘What has 5 years of Talking Shop meant to you?’ and sticking the answers up on our birthday board. It’s an amazing time to be looking forwards as well as back – with our successful shop trial under our belts and our fundraising campaign storming ahead. If another 35 people put in £100 each we would be able to open 6 days a week! Click here (http://www.sandfordtalkingshop.org/) to find out how you can contribute.

Outside in the garden there will be some fun activities to get involved with. You can make your own recycled paper pots and plant seeds for vegetables and/or wildflowers for insects and then take these away for free. We’ll also be making a making a ‘traffic light’ sign board to communicate what is ready for harvest in the garden.

Next week: don’t forget on Wednesday 18th May at Littlemore Village Hall we have our next Food Surplus Café, 12.30-2.30pm. Pay what you want for a delicious lunch made from food that would otherwise go to waste.

Happy 5th Birthday, Talking Shop!
