Vegetables are back this week. We will be getting supplied by fantastic local farm co-operative Cultivate (http://cultivateoxford.org/) and selling the veg from our own general stall. Many of you will know Cultivate as they supplied us a few years ago too. This week they are sending us rainbow chard, celeriac, beetroots, parsnips and lots more. Another change this week – we will now be getting our yoghurts from the Gloucestershire based Cotteswold Dairy (http://www.cotteswold-dairy.co.uk/) . They are sending us a great range of fruit flavoured yoghurts and natural yoghurt as well as amazing Greek yoghurt. The great thing about this dairy is they will also be able to supply us with milk…watch this space.
Due to a problem at their local abattoir Coopers have not been able to send any pigs to be slaughtered this week. We therefore have a smaller range of frozen meat. Just ask the team and they will tell you what we have.
Finally, following the successful WI information stall a few weeks ago there will be a meeting at 7.30pm next Wednesday, 30 March, in the Village Hall to talk about a possible new WI here in Sandford.
Enjoy the market – and have a great Easter weekend,
