In a first for Talking Shop this week your Sandford Sourdough bread will be baked on the premises! Poor Robert’s home oven is not working so he will be baking the bread for you this evening, here in our own kitchen, ready to buy at tomorrow’s market. His loaves have been flying off the stall. If you’ve not tried yet make sure to pick one up this week and if you would like to order a loaf each week – drop me a line and we can do that for you too.
There’s a big change in the café this week. We are very excited to announce we will now be using coffee made from beans roasted just down the road in East Oxford by local coffee experts ‘The Missing Bean (http://www.themissingbean.co.uk/our-coffee) ‘. You may know them from their popular café on Turl Street. We are using their Columbian coffee – let us know what you think. It will be just £1.50 for a cup of coffee made in our brilliant new filter machine.
Great line up of stalls this week – LAM Brewing for beers, Chillies 2 U for spicy sauces (including Ian’s new pineapple and chilli jam) and Ashtrees Farm’s great local veg. Finally, don’t forget to stock up on eggs for Pancake Day next Tuesday!
