If you’ve not made it down yet, and are footloose and fancy free on Fridays, make sure to check out the now weekly Talking Shop Friday Café. They have a great menu and a great team and are open 10-2 each week here at Talking Shop.

Another great market here on Saturday. Ally’s Kitchen will have Christmas cakes, puddings and mince pies as well as coconut cakes (by special demand of a regular customer). Having completely sold out over the summer, Steppin’ Stone chutneys are now back with a vengeance in time for Christmas. On Saturday the chutney recipes will include a special ‘Spicy Christmas’ chutney (plum, peach, apple and onion) and ‘Spanish’ chutney (courgette, onion, red pepper and tomato).  As usual, there will also be a large selection of jams. It will be the first time for Katrina Robinson’s stall here at Sandford Market – she will have cuddly hand-knitted piggies, quince jellies and hand-made cards. As she said herself ‘it’s an eclectic mix’!

Finally, this Saturday is your last chance to place an order with Ashtrees Farm for your Christmas vegetables. Have a look at their order list (https://talkingshopsandford.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/ashtreesfarmchristmasvegorders.pdf) to see what you can get.
Enjoy the market,
