Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who come to last week’s superb Christmas Craft Fair. It was so great to see the café buzzing and such an amazing range of local people’s skills on display.
We’ve just received two exciting deliveries here at Talking Shop today for this Saturday’s market. The first was a crate of apple juice from Waterperry Gardens. After months of just having Discovery apple juice we now have an incredible seven varieties available. Some will be familiar – Russet and Cox, others less so. Who has heard of ‘Greensleeves’ or ‘Howgate Wonder’? We are so lucky to be able to try such an amazing range of apple juices. The second delivery was from Steve of Brightwell Bees. If anyone missed their amazing beeswax candles last week make sure to have a look on Saturday. A brilliant little present made by the people that produce our honey.
Finally, Talking Shop’s fantastic Lunch Club is looking for volunteers to help on Wednesday 2nd December. It can be in the morning or afternoon. If you are already signed up have a look at the ‘3 rings’ rota to add yourself in. If you are not yet registered as a volunteer or would just like to join for lunch contact Elaine on 01865 395771 / email@example.com (mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org) . It’s £6.50 (including tea or coffee) if you’re not a member or £5 for members (plus £5 annual membership fee). Let the team know by 29th November so they how many to feed!
