We’ve got some lovely apples on the Ashtrees Farm veg stall this week. If you’ve not tried the Lord Lambourne variety before this is your chance. After the market on Saturday afternoon there’s also a chance to visit the farm where Sam and Juliet grow your veg. Regular volunteers Nanda and Anne had a great time when they visited a few weeks ago – read about it on our blog (https://talkingshopsandford.wordpress.com/) . Meet us in the Village Hall car park at 3pm to set off together if you would like to come along. There are a couple of places in cars if you need transport.
Coopers Pork are offering a discount for early-bird Christmas orders. You can get 10% off pork or gammon joints if you order before 5th December. Just email Jane on email@example.com (mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org) to place your order. This really helps them plan ahead as well as giving you a good deal.
The other exciting news this week is that we have an official opening date for the Sandford Sunday Café – 1st November. This will be run by our own Clive Shorter of Clive’s Pies. Don’t miss out.
