We have the most brilliant Talking Garden Team building up and you can see the results of their hard work already in the beds at the front and back of Talking Shop. All rigorously weeded and ready for planting!
In our Talking Garden we want to grow food and flowers to feed into the cafe and shop; we want to encourage and protect diversity of wildlife in the space; we want to make a garden that is good for community socialising and eating and a great space for community learning around growing and conservation, particularly for more vulnerable or isolated members of the community.
Now, thanks to funding from the Oxfordshire Learning Network, we’re excited that the wonderful Phil Pritchard from The Nature Effect will be running a series of Gardening Skills workshops at Talking Shop.
Everyone is welcome: whatever your age, skills, experience, physical abilities or limitations, there will be something for everyone and great skills to take home with you or on into work.
