A Note About Brightwell Bees’ Honey

beeThere is no Brightwell runny honey for now. Their runny honey is from the Summer blossom which has yet to flower. They haven’t taken the Spring honey (set honey) off the hives yet, as the Spring blossom has been late this year. They do still have some set honey though – apparently most beekeepers haven’t even got any of that left. Brightwell have over 70 hives, most beekeepers have less than 5.

So ….savour and treasure your local honey!

Steve (of Brightwell Bees) is giving an illustrated talk about bees at the Earth Trust on Thursday 8th August at 17.00, suitable for all ages. He’ll explain everything then.
