Hello

The boys (rams) had their raddles fitted recently.  Raddles?  They are a vital piece of shepherding equipment which is like a harness and has a coloured crayon to mark the girls (ewes) when they have been served.  This helps us plan when the ewes will have their lambs and when to invite our visitors to the farm to share in the amazing experience of lambing.  Basil is wearing his raddle for the first time and seems to know exactly what to do.  Please see our latest blog for photos and to find out more http://www.camillaandroly.blogspot.co.uk/

Dates for your diaries – places are already filling up to come and be ‘shepherds for the day’ with us next year.  So please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to join us.  We can send you a voucher for you to give to your friends or family as a brilliant unique present for Christmas!  Dates during lambing are 19th, 21st, 26th and 28th March (28th now fully booked).  As well as our popular day experiences we are also offering a special time in the lambing barns during the evenings on the following dates – 18th, 20th, 25th and 27th March –  these will be limited to just 15 people per evening.  Please see our website for more information http://www.camillaandroly.co.uk/be-a-shepherd  Finally, we will of course be open for our popular lambing weekends run with our landlords the Earth Trust on the 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th March.

Delicious lamb boxes – our lamb boxes make lovely presents.  Please let us know if you would like to treat friends and family this Christmas.  Please see our website for more details – http://www.camillaandroly.co.uk/camilla-and-rolys-shop?page=shop.browse&category_id=6
